Has anyone noticed headaches upon quitting drinking? I’m 13 days sober & have had a lot of very mild headaches. (Actually, I have often had mild headaches but usually they are caused from drinking, or so I thought!)

Headaches, stomach cramps, anxiety, insomnia and no appetite for anything except you know what. If a “normie” had such symptoms, they’d be seriously ill.

Well done on 13 days 👍 Give it another week or two to settle down. After that, maybe ask a GP.

I feel your pain, Hiding, but it’s a few weeks of pain and then good times ahead.

headaches are very common when quitting - sometimes it can be as simple as keeping hydrated.
of course if its really concerning you, see a Dr

I had headaches pretty much all the time for the first week, then less often for the second. I almost never got headaches with hangovers just bad nausea so I was a bit surprised. I'm just over 2 weeks now and haven't had one for a few days.

Yes, Hiding - definitely headaches & various other aches & pains. They all stopped after a couple weeks.

Thanks everyone! I feel much better! I realized I needed to eat!🤦🏼‍♀️ I have very poor eating habits & often “forget” to eat all day. And not because I’m drinking. I just am not hungry until mid-late afternoon. Just another thing I need to work on!
As soon as I are DINNER, it occurred to me that my headache was gone!😊
