Congratulations! This is a big milestone. At least the way my head works. The first month is a big step out of serious trouble. Then 90 is kind of the first big milestone. 6 months, this lifestyle is really becoming normal and how did we not live this way all along? 1 year is a like World Championship in sports. (Or so I imagine, my team stinks and hasn't even won a playoff game in decades).
I guess if 1 year is like a Championship, 90 days is like making the playoffs. We have found a winning formula but we need to keep executing to get to the next level. For me personally the game has changed so much. Some things went real bad after winning a championship. Ive been tested like I can't believe. Right now I feel insanely strong mentally and spiritually and its a good thing because the next challenges I face are insanely strong as well. Venturing away from the company of other alcoholics is one of the most dangerous things I have done.
We need the kind of commitment to recovery to become champions and then stay on top. When the opponent throws something new and/or creative at us we have to have these practices in place. We need to be prepared to counter instinctively. We deal with cunning, baffling, powerful. We have to win now because we just don't know if we will get another opportunity next season. With us there isn't always a next season.
Staying sober isn't everything its the only thing! (Probably what Vince Lombardi would say)

Thanks for this Reckless ! I like soccer so your analogy rings true ! But I like tennis more ! I have made the quarter finals and now need to win the Championship and then multiple Grand Slams for ever until I beat Serena’s record and then keep going ! 😂😂😂
Thanks to everyone else too for your kind words. Couldn’t have done it without you all !
