Day 1. Again
I’ve gone back and forth with drinking for a couple of years now, and I’m finally ready to really let go and get my health and life on track. This is my first time joining a sober community, and I’m looking forward to the support and help it will give me.

Welcome to SR Ashlay! This site helped me finally get sober for good. I had many day ones in the past, but seven years ago today was my last day one. Read and post often. Also, check in on the January 2023 and The 24 hour thread each day, they’ll help you find a community here. Glad you are here!
Welcome to SR, Ashlay! I hope you utilize the community. We can help, but most of your progress will come from you. Don't confuse that with having to do it all on your own. It's just that the important stuff will be of your own discovery. We can help you find it, and it's really worth it. A life without alcohol is a true joy. Normies don't even think about it. To them it's just a strange thought. But to alcoholics it makes all the difference in the world.
