Today i turned 33 years old , i remember one of my friends jokingly telling me that i won't make it to 25 ( she said that when i was 21 ) because of my drinking , anyway i am still here but still struggling to stop. My drinking decreased by more than 90% after Covid started but i am still in the grips of PAWS all the time , this year i messed up and drank many times and even thought it's nothing compared to before it's still more than enough to keep me in that anxiety/panic/paws state all the time. Anyway , i have been sober for about 2 weeks now and today my brother offered me a beer because it was my birthday and i refused , i had 3 in 1 coffee instead , i will try my best to get my freedom back this year ( after being trapped in the prison of addiction since 2011 ).

It gets better ( I betcha never heard that before). It all turned the corner for me once the cravings became manageable. After that it was just head games. This is where you have to start using your head, rather than superhero will power. Not to drink now becomes a choice. Remember to choose wisely, and you are on your way.
