Three years

Yesterday marked my third year of sobriety, and I'm so very grateful.

Times have definitely been tough, but would not have survived at all had I been drinking. Life would have gone down down the drain. Family too. :(

Wanted others to know that its possible to stop and that no matter what life deals you, you will always play a better hand when sober. :)

Congrats, Least! You are such a bright light. You have conquered a lot over the last few years. Weathered storms. Proving to all that staying the course is 100% worth it. Im so happy for you. Keep on keepin on!

Big hugs and congrats to you on reaching your third year sober! :). You are so right that life can be difficult, but drinking makes it 1,000 times worse.

Thanks, everyone.

Congratulations on 2 years CBS. Saw your post yesterday, and gave it the big thumbs up. :) When we eventually 'get it', time doesn't matter all that much. We are sober. And always will be. They'll need us sober types when the heat is really on. Lol Stll some residual PAWS, but improving. Gawd, what a nightmare is PAWS.

Hey, Mizz. Steely, here. I think least has about 10 years on me. :) Looked you up yesterday 'cause hadn't seen you around, and wondered if you were ok. I always like your considered posts.

Anyrate, thanks heaps everyone.

Sober Rocks, even when getting pelted with rocks, because you learn how to dodge them.

You're making me cry Dee. Thanks so much. x

Congratulations on your 3 years Steely 🎉. Hard won but that's what makes a champion!

Hodd 12-17-2022 02:41 PM

Well done, steely. Sounds like you quit before a lot of bad stuff came along. That took some willpower to stay quit, but you did it :) Well done on 3 years.

Steely - I'm so glad we finally figured out how to stay free. I'm thrilled you've reached your hard-earned 3rd anniversary. I'm so happy - and proud to know you.

I'm still around, Steely. Thanks for thinking of me. Here we are building, creating, and doing the things! Sobriety is well worth it even in the toughest of days.

:) :) Happy Holidays to you and yours, Steely.
