I have faith in you as well, Runner.

I live right in the middle of "how do people live like this." When the cold actually hurts, I wonder who ever thought to themselves, "this seems like a nice place to set up a home."

First of two related "christmas job parties" was today the other tomorrow afternoon. There were multiple people that plan on a 4 day binge, followed by three days "working" next week and another 4 day binge for the new year's. So basically, the next three weeks most people at work will be having withdrawals. I plan on having my radio blasting Tuesday morning when pulling up and being hyperactive the day after new year's just to see the reaction.

Family has decided to meet new year's day to have christmas because of the bitter cold and driving conditions. Not sure of my plans this weekend but will probably include some winter

Hi Weekenders

Runner, having a plan for the holidays will help you get through them sober with no regrets.

joe, I remember the binges. They happened a lot for me. I’ don’t envy their hangovers.

I always think of US. a lot warmer than England. I guess mostly it is.

We’re in the new place now. My cats were upset to say the least. Hopefully they’ll settle in their new surroundings in a few days.

We are wondering what Riley will think of the new place. We are going to be closing on it Friday so may take him over a few days later. It is supposed to be darn cold so I don't want to take him out in it.

Mags, your cats will adjust, it will just be in their own time. . How did the move go? Hopefully there were no snags or holdups.

I tried to take a nap earlier but my stomach was a bit upset so got out of bed. Still feeling crummy.

PJ, how are you doing?

Least, the move went fine. Lots to do but in our own time. My back and knee are playing up but hey, I’ve got time to rest now. I’m feeling a lot less stressed and more relaxed than I have for a while. Thankfully. Hope your stomach ache goes .

Thanks Dee, I’m sure they will too.

Alpine , I think Riley will be fine in your new home just so long as you’re there.
