Pledging for today not to take that first drink. Day 60. Family get together this weekend so have to be vigilant. Making sobriety the number one priority has worked for me in the past so I will stick with that.

Guess I will make the jump too. Day 6 and doing much better today. Yesterday was the day from hell and I hope that I never forget.

I’m joining December as well. Day 7 for me. Had a major challenge yesterday. My bro-in-law was in town from California and he is a major drinker. We went out for dinner last night and he was slamming my favorite seasonal beer. I stuck to lemonade and just rode it out. Very glad I stayed sober and didn’t get loaded and make an ass out of myself.

Sorry you felt so terrible yesterday Bob. Hope today is better.

Runner - good luck with your upcoming weekend. Sounds like you already are getting your plan in place. Well done

day 12 here!

Feeling melancholy. Looking forward to seeing my PCP tomorrow. I hope he can figure out what this lower right quad pain is. I want to run again.

Thinking of all of you and welcome to our new members!

I think it's time to recommit myself to sobriety.. I had 3 months and have now been drinking for 6-7 weeks, I'm tired and just want some sanity back..
