It's hard finding our way.
I'm 53 yo and just figuring out some basic stuff.
Had I still been drinking I would have learned nothing.

Hang in there and figure out a way to stop talking so negatively to yourself.

I was uncomfortable in my own skin for a long time, Thrill. Staying sober was the only way I could try to change things. I'm so glad you're breaking your old sobriety record.

The birds are fun to watch. So pretty.

I have never been sober this long. Everything is still a disaster but at least my legs aren't swollen.

Yes probably due to liver problems. One of my parakeets Grover is swooping at my keyboard trying to land on my hands as I'm typing.

Many congrats. It sounds like you've been through the mill and yet still made it.

I suspect, Thrill, that you’re beginning to like this sobriety?

How normal is it to be obsessively scared of the weather? I've been looking at radar for 3 hours straight because I'm afraid of some of the red blobs heading my direction.

Those red blobs cause me concern too.
I don't obsess over it but I definitely watch them when they are near.

Hope they pass with little fanfare
