You don't have to fade TH.
If drinking was good for you you wouldnt need to stop.

If your life kinda sucks, change your life, not your decision to stay sober.

Or is it just the AV telling you there is no other way?

You know the answer and it ain't #1

Thrill - I hope you won't go back to that awful way of living. The drinking life can't be sustained. A small bit of relief from boredom or unhappiness is all we get - no problems are solved - and we're right back in a terrible place again.

My bottom-left molar has a huge hole in it. I can't imagine that's good.

No that don't sound normal. Definitely get that fixed. But you know that.
Definitely not something to drink over. That crap is horrible for the teeth. And mouth. And throat. And esophagus. And stomach. And intestines. And liver. And kidneys. And pancreas. And you get the point

Hope it's a simple fix

Hey Thrill,
. My son is a huge NFL fan,
He totally gets into his fantasy football stuff every year.
On the flip side I don't follow it at all,
Although I've lived in Bills country all my life.
I gotta admit, I woulda liked to have watched yesterday's game.

I only get 4 crappy channels though.

I agree with Fishkiller,
Get your mollar fixed it will just get worse and cost more if not.
Also, with all the time that you have,
You really don't want to go back to drinking,
Wasted money, wasted health, wasted time.

I hate talking on the phone. I sound derpy and people don't understand me and always get mad. I sort of hate talking all together. I have no current plans to drink. If I do go back out it likely would not be to that, something else, something new. We'll see what happens in February.

It's 7 months. Not sure how much longer it'll go. I may as well get off those damn ssri's because they don't work ever. The season is almost over, marking a turning point. If the 49ers are the winners than it'll increase the likelihood of going off the grid.

This thread is more dead than fidget spinners. I suppose the one person that actually looked at it hasn't been on here lately.

Depression's a bitch. Society will say it wants to help you but society is the problem. My two, jaded cents.

I really hope you don't drink or drug TH.
My life sucked but the only way I could even hope to change it was staying clean and sober.

Society will say it wants to help you but society is the problem.
I used to say that too, Tetrax, but the only thing I was willing to do, for a long time, was drink or get high.

I'm glad you've been sober for 7 mos., Thrill. We know you've been tempted many times, but you stayed strong. No matter what's going on in sports, your job, or other things - I hope you'll stay off the poison. You know where it's going to take you.

I find in the late evenings, as the day has worn on, I do tend to get more cynical. Which of course could be a trigger.

It's crystal clear now (it should have been clear for years) I'm not cut out for the working world. I'm terrible at whatever I do. It's like Grover from Sesame Street when he does odd jobs and screws up, but at least he has a happy demeaner. I'm going to find a tent to live in.

If you live in a tent and don't work, how will you get money for food ? Even if you do voluntary work it counts towards your state pension and benefits will give you enough for food and rent etc if little else. At least that's how it worked for me in the UK years ago.

I often had that dream too, Thrillou, but its not realistic, so find what you love to do and figure out a way to earn money from it. Great job on 7 months.. that's outstanding!

I am not good at anything that is useful for making money. I didn't think I'd live this long so I didn't prepare.
