Thankful

I just wanted to post how thankful I am to everyone in this forum. It was so amazing tonight how I wrote about something that triggered me and within a few hours I had several responses. Genuine responses... not tough love responses ...but heartfelt and thoughtful responses. It really is so meaningful. Tonight I am grateful.... This forum is full of love and support. Anyone on the fence about posting ....my advice is do it... there isn't a safer more compassionate place that I have found so far

AJ, I was really blown away also with the support I found here. Not at all sure I would have made it through that early stage otherwise.

Indeed AJ, I also have found that others in this process just seem to know what to say, whether I want to hear it or not!! It is very comforting to know that there are other people out there that actually get what I am trying to say, we are never alone.

Here here! Totally agree! There's always somebody about who seems to know what to say! Lots of kind, friendly and caring peeps here! Certainly been pivotal in my own journey.

AJ - That made my day. I always felt the same, ever since arriving here in terrible shape. How nice of you to post your thoughts. You're never alone.

Yes, this is a very understanding and supportive place for sure, and even if sometimes the words are hard to hear- it is usually because someone isn't ready to hear them or they are stated strongly because as a group, we really want to help- and sometimes that is hard to convey tactfully! I am glad you are feeling better today, AJ.

Thank you, AJ. I believe many members here along with myself are practicing: “Kindness is seeing the best in others when they cannot see it ourselves.” SR is a wonderful place to practice new healthy behaviors while connecting with others.
