I understand your relief that day one is over. Day ones were the worst for me and yet I did it over and over and over again. I would go to work on Monday countless times horribly hungover and just rattling with anxiety but, if it wasn't for work I would have never sobered up. I wasn't able to eat until later in the afternoon and by the end of the day I was completely exhausted because I never slept properly the night before with my stomach full of booze. Sobriety is so worth it, Travelbug! Give it all you've got

Day 2 etc

Everyone is different and I don’t know how long or how much you’ve been drinking. Physically and mentally the first three or four days have been the worst for me recently and the insomnia has lasted 7-10 days. This most recent time I made sure I had some quality B6,B12 and Magnesium Glycinate supplements and took them with food. They seemed to help a lot with the mental side of withdrawal for me.

Keep on keeping on!

I always caved on day 3, but my hardest day was day 5. It's doesn't matter. Just get through the cravings and then start thinking about how to stay that way.

What’s your specific plan to deal with cravings to drink? They will come, and having a go-to set of distractions really can make the difference—

Congrats on completing Day 2!

Well done Travelbug 👏. Keep going and keep busy, i used to be so tired by evening i was only fit for bed, good in one way as it didn't give me the time for sitting downstairs with my brain on overtime.
Good luck today
