OT - Day 8
Off topic so remove or move as needed.
Day 8 of quitting tobacco use.
I'm using my "learned" tools from when I quit drinking to help in kicking this habit.
I'm also using the 21 mg patch and 4 mg gum as needed. So far so good.

There's a quitting nicotine/smoking forum about halfway down the main index page.

C0ntr0ls, I quit almost 35 years ago. 35 year mark is Halloween, October 31.
You can do it. Like alcohol, I really wanted cigs out of my life. I marked a calendar off with a black marker ‘X’ daily for a year. I would say daily for three months, then I would find I had three to five days to mark off, as I began to get free from the thoughts and urges.
I didn’t have a 12 step program for my addiction, but I was able to make up my own formula for negative feedback before quitting.
