So for my broken shoulder, the doc said to gradually reduce the morphine and switch to cocodamol … which I tried from Monday night, but the pain is just too unbearable so I had a dose of morphine an hour ago. I don’t see this as a defeat but as a practical way of managing things. I will try reducing again tomorrow. But on the bright side, I showered, washed my hair and dressed myself so that’s good. Onwards !

Hang in there! Our injuries must be superficially similar, and I was on oxy for a few weeks before the pain was bearable.

Im so sorry, Ican. You are doing all the right things. This pain will lessen over time.
