Hoping that the heat wave has turned a corner for those in the UK.

Least, I'm glad that the health care system there is encouraging so far.

PJ, the eyebrows match the white trim on her muzzle nicely.

Must get headed out for the 2-hour drive to today's work.

Good news about your health visits Least. Hope they look after you well love.

PJ, gorgeous pic of Roxy. ❤️ Eyebrows. Very dapper. Wonder if she’ll raise one at you if you say anything silly.

Least, it isn’t as hot as yesterday but still hot…for me anyways. Cooler in the home thankfully.

Thanks Robbie, enjoy your walk.

She looks offended if I get too silly...but I'm pretty gentle/lowkey with her in voice/actions....I do get grumpy if she darts across in front of me, as the lead gets me stumbling, to go and do interesting dog things...but I am learning....she is a good example of how a positive recovery works...she's a gentle soul...most grateful I be...

My cats can give so many expressions and looks at me. It’s almost as if they’re human in a cats body. or am I a cat in a human body. Confusing.

PJ, I love her little white eyebrows.. that picture of her sweet face is the best one you've posted so far.

Well, I'm unable to relax enough to sleep cause I'm sure I have a UTI. . The awful sense of urgency but can't do more than a few drops. When ck was over tonight she pulled out three sheets of doctor lists she'd researched before I even moved here. so I'll give one of them a call this morning and see if I can get in. also, there's an urgent care around the corner so I can go there and not have to wait for an appt with a new doctor.

I need to get some cranberry juice at the store tomorrow. that's supposed to be good for UTIs.

Sometimes getting old really sucks.

Congratulations, Mags and Jo!

I am feeling about the same as yesterday, but I'm grateful it isn't worse. I have been much sicker than this, many times, so I'm thankful. I have to admit I was pretty scared yesterday when I got that positive test result. I'm still worried about "long Covid," because I am hearing even a mild case can have nasty, lingering effects. My daughter is still testing negative, but my boyfriend, who I spent all day Sunday with, says he's not feeling well today. I am guessing he will get it. My daughter might luck out, because from the research I have done, I probably wasn't contagious when I last saw her on Friday (I stayed in a hotel Friday night close to Newark airport and flew out very early Saturday morning, we parted ways at about 6 on Friday). I'm thinking I picked it up on the flight back, even though I was masked. Almost no one on the plane beside me was wearing a mask, including the two young people who were right next to me, both of whom slept through the whole flight, mouths hanging open.

MLD, even my long term symptoms, chronic fatigue and loss of smell, seem to be gone. Hope that helps you feel a little better.

Could eat a piece of that cake with a candy butterfly right now.

I just got back from the dermatologists office where I had a bunch of spots treated on my face and hands with liquid nitrogen. She also gave my a chemo cream to further treat my head. Wear hats and sunscreen!! I grew up playing in the sun and I have fair skin and am paying a price for that. (Ancestry.com says 90+% of my ancestors came from the UK).
