He has a torn stomach muscle that happened in the match with Fritz yesterday.
He was going for a calendar slam....he was halfway there....it is a shame.

Sam, it is essentially a very narrow and long kayak without a top it that one can surf waves and do what is called down winding.

Sorry about Nadal. I know you brits would like Norrie. I hope for Joker. But will take Norrie over Kyrgios anyway! Too bad Fritz can't be a lucky loser and play Kyrgios in Nadal's place. That was a close match.

Good Morning Weekenders

Marty have a fantastic holiday. Love the ‘hand only’ luggage. It was my aim to just have a hold-all when I used to travel but I hadn’t quite mastered it.

MesaMan, looks gorgeous out there, to wake up with the view must be breathtaking. Pleased you’re well equipped with your air con.

Least yes, it’s good to wake up with a clear conscience and remembering everything from the evening before.

Love to all Weekenders xxxx

Yeah for sobriety! Today I have to do laundry, mow my MIL's lawn, do some errands, dehydrate marinara sauce and salsa in preparation for a canoeing camping trip. We will be carrying our gear in our canoes, so should be fun times.

Looks like I won't be getting any sleep tonight. when I. fall asleep, the pain in my feet wakes me up. It only hurts when I'm lying down. Sitting up they don't hurt.

Marty, have a good time in the Big Apple.

I am so sick of my feet hurting.

Least, do your feet hurt if you are in a recliner chair?

I don't have that kind of chair so I don't know if that would make a difference.

Alpine, I love hearing about your adventures! The canoe camping trip sounds fantastic, and thanks for the explanation about surf skis.

Anyone watching the tennis? (Sorry, obsessed, but just a few days left).

OK, here we go....half an hour or more until Norrie/Djokovic.

I would like to add something....my love of tennis comes from my mum. We spent thousands of hours watching tennis together. And then, when I started drinking alcoholically (at 29), I stopped watching. I didn't even remember when the tournaments were. And then I just stopped caring. And even if I made myself try, I really couldn't see the ball that well anymore.

So now, it is a thrill to have this incredible joy back in my life, and to love it like I did when I was young, before I ruined my life with alcohol.
And my eyesight is better than ever.

Samwitch, your post made me think of watching tv with one eye closed, because of double vision due to alcohol. Ugh!!
Least, I'm sorry you have such continuing pain.
