Day 37 - second chance !
 

So I got my blood tests back from my doctor ( he’d said they were ok when I was in hospital but I just got to look at them myself and they are REALLY Ok (except of course the inflammatory markers associated with my recent infection). ALL my liver tests were fine … cholesterol was a bit off but I’ll fix that when I get back to my walking and tennis.
So phew ! I had been kind of worried but a thorough going over in hospital including a CT scan of my abdomen, including liver, was normal except for the inflammation in my bowel which we knew about. I’ve been given a second chance and I’m going to take it !

Not to be maudlin but I expect there are many people who pray/wish/long for that second chance but left it too late - so yes, all of us that have a second chance, take it with both hands, hold onto it tightly and never look back.
