This is Newcomers Forum - please read
Hi Everyone
It seems to be a tough time for many at the moment.
This is not a new message - a lot of it is from our rules, but for everyone’s benefit, Anna and I think things need restating.
SR is a forum for those recovering from alcohol and substance abuse addictions and help for family and friends whos lives have been affected by someone else's addiction.
We care about everyone and all the issues our members struggle with…but some topics can cause damage to those who are trying to recover on our forums.
Posts with serious suicide threats, details of sexual abuse, and details of sexual addiction are many times too much of a trigger for some of our members and can trigger a relapse in recovery.
General discussions are ok, but we will remove posts at our discretion that contain triggering content.
Please do not take this as rejection.
It is our way of protecting everyone here.
If you are in crisis please call your physician, call your country’s version of 911, visit a hospital emergency room or call a hotline.

We can't be all things to all people, but we want you to find the help you need.
Please everyone - do NOT post suicide notes, or anything which could sound like you might kill or seriously harm yourself.
We are *not* trained in counseling to deal with such things.

Please visit a hospital emergency room for immediate assistance.***
