I have really tried to ignore the tiredness I’ve been feeling since February (had a slip of 4 days in April hence at Day 26). After three months more or less sober I thought I’d be bouncing around full of life but the truth is I’m permanently exhausted. I can’t think straight and have to lie down in the day (unheard of for me!). So I have a video consultation with my GP next Wednesday so maybe she can get to the bottom of it. I’m supposed to be going to West Africa for work in a few weeks which I normally love .. but it’s exhausting enough without arriving exhausted !

That sounds like a good idea, Ican. I hope you can get some answers.

Good idea to go to the gp. I remember I was so tired for months when I quit - even now I have days where I am exhausted for no reason, healing takes it's toll.
I hope your Gp gives some useful insight.

How long did you drink? My body was very tired for many months in early sobriety. I wore myself out drinking!

I'm sorry you are so fatigued, Ican. Good idea to check as travel is difficult as is, especially to developing countries.
