Working on myself

This is my first post. My AH is out of rehab, came home for a few weeks, had a few slips, went back to rehab and now he is living in a sober house with many other sober guys. I am happy to read post and encouragement, because I can relate that I am completely overwhelmed with my anger and resentment and have realized that is no way for me to live, especially since he seems like he's just moved on from all his horrible alcohol memories. I've been carrying this family for so long, I almost don't know how to relax and focus my energy inward, but I'm sure going to try. Better than the alternative of continuing to live like this.

Welcome, and I think it's good that you're focusing on yourself and your family. You might also like to check out AlAnon in your city as a support for you.

Hello Surviving13, there is a 'Friends and Family of Alcoholics' support thread here on this site. You'll finds other members who will no doubt be able offer support and advice. Best wishes
