AR hope you feel better soon. CBS thats so much to contend with in one go, all very hard things to deal with, wishing you continued strength and thoughts are with you and your mum and family
Calmself well done on knocking down the AV. I am finding our fine weather here in the UK this Easter is trying to set mine off but it won't beat me down because I don't ever want to feel horrible or disappointed in myself anymore so drinking is off the table.

Morning Lovely Weekenders!! It’s 6am, got up at 5 as I went to bed at 6pm last night but definitely needed it! It’s a nice morning here, very peaceful and pretty warm, should be another good day. Well done to everyone fighting the cravings and AV this long weekend, it’s tough when everyone else seems to be drinking responsibly and enjoying the sun but I know that wouldn’t be me if I started. There’s going to be a lot of people round here with sore heads and hangovers as there was a little Easter festival yesterday. Grateful to be sat here hangover free, enjoying the morning, no anxiety, no guilt, no “what did I say or do”, no checking and deleting phone logs out of shame and denial, no random cuts and bruises or things moved round the house that I have no idea why. This feeling is priceless and a true blessing. x

Its difficult I agree. I make it a point to go by saying to myself, just put an entry and come back in 20 mts. Once I go there I get the motivation.

That’s one thing I’ll always love now I’m sober. No hangovers, misgivings or regrets. Life is much calmer than when I got wasted.

I’m just saying hi! Happy Easter for those who celebrate it. Sober Sunday for me. I just did an ab workout. My finger surgery made that a little tricky. I couldn’t do planks.
