Done it. No more codeine or alcohol.
 

My last post I slipped up. But I'm back with some good news. I'm free of codeine and alcohol.

It was Ramadan that helped me. I don't know how many days clean I am, I do not count. For me, counting is counter productive because it keeps the thought in my head constantly. Whereas, just forgetting about it has been so much more helpful. I don't Google anything, and I just carry on with life. This is the best way for me.

I thank Allah for giving me the strength and the wisdom to recognize my problems and fix them. I thank everybody here who are always ready to help with some words of advice.

The alcohol problem never spiraled, but I came so so close.

Here's to a sober future.
