Great job in coming right back! Quitting drinking is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. It’s not easy but pat yourself on the back for coming back.

The support and education helped me stay quit this long.

I almost relapsed a couple of times. Part of what kept me from doing it was the fear of having to answer to my peers here.

Education about the effects of booze is pretty much my go to defense. The brain damage.

Suffering and time.

My process has pretty much been 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Even after this much time.

When I wake up every day, I am reminded about how bad it could be. Since I exercise as hard as I can, my body always has aches and pains.

Those aches remind me of being hung over. Then I look in the mirror and see my aging face and thank God I am not hung over as well as getting older.

Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks.

Glad you are back Ican. It’s not easy indeed, we’ve all been on this rollercoaster so you are not alone.

I’ll say what I always do, what will you do different this time?

We’re here for you, but something has to change.

Its good to see you.
Day 3 is wonderful. I believe you will have lasting sobriety, ICAN.
Recovery from active addiction is a very very hard thing to do but YOU CAN DO IT!
Keep moving forward. We are here for you.

So happy to see you, Ican. We are all right where we need to be to learn the lessons we needed, in order to move forward in our lives. It’s painful for some of us but we can do it!

Great to see you back - each time you try to stop you will be stronger - you can definitely do this!

Keep fighting! I was the king of relapses before I finally figured it all out.

Just make sure you try harder or add a new tactic this time because what you were doing clearly wasn't enough.

Meantime keep posting. We got your back!
