Checking in…Day 18!
 

Hi all,

I wanted to check in because I said I was going to check in every day starting 2/5/22 when I got sober, and I haven’t. BUT that is because I finally found what I needed to do for it to work for me. I joined a recovery center IOP that does group therapy/discusses topics for 3 hours 3 times a week plus one on one meetings with my counselor every other week, I attend AA Online meetings on nights that I don’t have group (so 4 times a week), I use the I Am Sober App, and I’ll be starting with a psychiatrist next week.

This group helped me get sober a decade ago, this time I kept floundering and needed a massive amount of support. This group is what made me realize that I needed to ask for help, so I did from family and a few trusted friends and coworkers, and I am convinced my life was saved because of it.

I just wanted to let you all know that I’m doing well, and thank you for your support!!

Well done Lunetta, I'm on day 16, online meetings are good especially the 24/7 ones, it's à lovely feeling waking up clear headed, you can do this, keep doing what you need to do, have a great day.
