Logging in on day 29.
The last 4 years have been horrible for my with a sleep pattern which is all over the place and energy dips galore but something wonderful happened on Sat into Sunday in that I slept for a full 10 hours and yesterday was the best day I've had since 2018. I woke up refreshed had a productive day and my energy was constant. This illness really affects your self-esteem but I really felt like an older version of myself yesterday. Sadly I didn't sleep well last night so not feeling it today. But I've got my food planned out and I'm going to the gym to work of the cross-trainer.

Sat check in on week 5.
I wish I was a little fitter to enjoy the summer weather but slow and steady and all that. Going out for dinner with the family but my wife doesn't drink and the kids will be on orange and waters. Think I'll treatmyself to a fresh orange and lemonade.

Everything the same everyday. Nothing changes.
The only food in the house is what I bought last night for today's 3 square meals.
The only drink in the house is the 3 litres of flavoured water I bought last night for today's consumption.
I've never seen the AV this quiet.
Choice is off the table.

Thought I'd add a bit.
Tonight I went Golfing for the first time this year. It's a sport I played to national standard at under 16s and 18s level. Tonight I spent on the gc crying to myself (thankfully no one was about) about wasting time and how little I'd played in the last 20 years.
Drinking consumes months then months turn into years. I'm going to try and golf as much as I can this summer - and hopefully rekindle the joy it brought me growing up.

Morning check in on day 44.
Absolutely awful sleep last night a full day's work today and the opportunity of a long lie tomorrow. The perfect storm to buy 30 units of booze tonight post-work.
Must be vigilant.
