Sober is addictive!
Im using addiction to my advantage FINALLY.
I think becoming addicted to:
-Sleeping well, 8 hours.
-Waking to journal with coffee - about other subjects then I NEED to quit. Again.
-Not waking to the laptop on the floor (?) with 10 youtube tabs open.
-Saving money and calories every day.
-Thinking clearer.
-A sense of accomplishment
15 DAYS TODAY!

I guess you could say I'm addicted to my sober lifestyle. I'm addicted to waking up feeling good. Addicted to having a clear head at all times. Addicted to being responsible. Yep, I'm addicted to sobriety.
I love the sentiment Ascended!!! Addicted to sobriety!!!
If that works for you, keep using it.
Every single day without fail, I appreciate and am grateful for the way I feel, the things I can do now, the things I can now do for others, and on and on. Usually early in the morning over my first cup of coffee, I try to focus on that gratitude for 10 minutes or so, and think about so many of our friends here on SR and in the real world who are still struggling and suffering.
My morning meditation on those things is one of my main tools to keep my sober life.
