New to recovery,just spent a week at home detoxing,now on day 10 of being dry,feel slightly irritated but that's to be expected,hope you're all keeping well and look forward to hearing from others

Welcome to SR Elvira. 10 days is a great start. 10 tough foundational days to build upon. I hope you keep posting on this thread and tell us how it is going. Healthy, sober, calm and quiet is such a preferable way to live, isn't it?

Hi Elvira, glad you made the SR scene! You don't have to drink at all anymore, and this forum can help immensely with that. It was vital in me getting sober 5 years ago, I was just about dead, not even kidding. Your new sober life is waiting up ahead for you, and thankfully sobriety is a skill that we all can learn, even if it may not seem like that early on. Welcome.
