2 Years today!!!

Well i never thought i would be writing this as i have made it too 2 years today!! and i would not have done it without Sober Recovery , 2 years ago today i was taken to hospital with heart problems due to heavy drinking every day for 25 years , Yes its been difficult at times but the longer you go without alcohol the easier it gets , If i can do it you can too

2 years!! Endoftheday that is fabulous. So proud of you.
You're right - it does get easier. I'm so thankful we didn't give up when it was especially hard in the early days.

I remember those never thought it could happen milestones as kind of mixture of self satisfaction, surprise, confidence, and knowing that I was on my way. I hate to use a cliche' like "awesome" but I'll make an exception for this situation. I used to wish I could get better, without actually knowing what that meant or how I could do that, but actually getting better is awesome.

You are definitely getting better. Isn't this journey amazing?
