Need encouragement
 

I am new to all of these forums. I am not new to alcoholism. I have tried many times to quit. The last time I was in Emergency for withdrawl a doctor set me up with a program and a prescription to stop the cravings. It remains to see how it works.I also just need someone to talk to. My friends and family are getting tired of me doing the same thing all of the time.

PS...I had a dog that I called Panda. A black and white border collie. :)

Welcome to SR HeroAndPanda. I didn't quite get the timing of what you are currently enduring. Do you have detox meds on hand prescribed by a Doc that you have not yet taken? Or is that part of the process behind you? Whatever the case, I'm glad you came to SR. You are one of us and only we can understand each other.
