Hello from MT
Hello fellow recovery partners! I'm from Montana. I've been battling sex and alcohol addiction since my teens. I'm currently 6months and 20 days sober. What do I do to starve off my boredom…? I'm currently blogging, something new for me. I've never journaled, and this is a form for me. It helps me process my busy mind.

Hi Lust, Welcome. I got sober in Montana 25 years ago. I lived in Libby for 40 years, but am now in Virginia for the last 10. That makes three of us here from Montana that I know of. There's a lot of good information and support here. I hope you can put it to good use.

Hello Lust. I am really into studying ways to maximize my human potential. I like to read books and listen to podcasts on diet, exercise, anti-aging, the emerging science and evidence for health promoting methods such as near-infrared light and cold exposure, interpersonal communication skills, spirituality and metaphysics, etc and on and on. There are a lot of really smart people out there who are doing the work, and sharing what they are finding, so we don't have to. A lot of this stuff can be found on Spotify and Youtube.
Now actually implementing all of this stuff is a whole other level which requires a lot of willpower (especially when it comes to diet). I am working on that.

Hello whats up and welcome. 6 monthts+ is a great accomplishment. This place can be an awesome resource to fortify and support that sober time. It got me sober and continues to be one of the pillars in my sobriety. Great Falls MT sounds amazing to this city boy. How about you stave off that boredom by sharing a photo of the fall there?
Have you ever read Jordan Peterson? I can't say I was diagnosed a sex addict but there were issues with women and years of poor decisions tied into my booze habits and reading Peterson's 12 Rules of Life helped both in many ways.
