Was your MRI approved? I read this thread late so I was hoping for your pain to be eased up by now. I’m sorry you are going through this least. I hope they figure out a way to help you very soon,

Can you try heat? Like a heating pad?

I hope it gets better @least! Sometimes heat helps, sometimes icing helps. Thinking of you!

I hope you find ease from this pain soon
My ex-mother-in-law had this. The doctor had her lie on a hard board on the floor (but this was years ago)
She was incapacitated with the pain. So I very much sympathise with you.
She saw a specialist, who found out she had a crushed disc in her spine that was trapping a nerve. He would come to the house and inject anaesthetic into her buttock to numb the pain.
In the end she had an operation to remove the damaged disc and was up and about again in no time.
I'm just saying this to let you know there are treatments once the cause is found. You won't always be in this pain (know that doesn't help you now).
Hope they can get to the cause of it for you and fix it

Why would you be forced to move? Because you might need more assistance? Have you considered seeing a chiropractor? Does your insurance cover temporary in home service? Have you gone on you tube to see if there is anything you can do to relieve your pain? Your situation, although serious, shouldn't be reason for you to have to move someplace else. Just not right. Your a strong person and have been through a lot. You can do this!! John

the pain comes in waves and right now it's really bad. will have to wait til monday to find out if my insurance company approved the mri my doctor ordered. also have to call the pain doctor on monday to get an appt asap. when i had pain like this 10 yrs ago, it was the shot he gave me in my tailbone that made the pain go away. i hope the same solution will work this time too.

I feel so awful you're going through this, praying that the pain Dr can do an injection again for you.
