So I’m tapering off
Thats a good aim…but thinking a little about the detail of how exactly you’ll stay sober, and thinking ahead about how to deal with the kinds of situations or feelings that have bought you undone in the past is a really good idea LH. That’s what most people mean here by a plan
I know from your other posts you’ve committed to AA meetings - that’s a good start

To be honest Dee I now live in supported living so spend time with my carers three times a week. They know about soberrecovery.com and the meetings and everything.
My parents also know about the meetings and sober recovery.
I also have a therapist.
When I came here 10 years ago or more I managed around eight and a half months and my life now has a lot more support and more things to it.
As i say I have my carers, I now have positive family relations I didn’t have back then. My financial situation is better. My therapist. I eat better. I try to exercise daily (normally walks but I also have a pushbike) I have a punch bag for anger management.
I also have more interests now than I did then. I like soap operas on the tv for entertainment and follow soccer and formula one racing.
I do have some quite severe mental health issues now but I consider myself to be operating on fertile ground for a good recovery.
As you say I’m also attending online aa meetings daily.
I’m sure challenges will come and go but god willing (I goto church too most weeks) I can recover well I think. I was mostly a solo drinker so my bad influences are limited.
Right now I have some anxiety about my therapy on Friday but I do believe if I was still drinking it would be a lot worse.
I’m very grateful for sober recovery which has been awesome so far. Without coming here quite possibly id still be drinking and trying to moderate still. Slaughtering my physical and mental health so cheers
