Can you request not having the terrorist anymore? She doesn't sound like a very gentle soul. Therapy is making things better, not worse and more painful.

Oh Mags, that sounds like either tough love or abuse.

Fort William was featured on a tv property show last week. I absolutely fell in love with it, so stunning. I wonder if climbing a mountain will help Alfie's recuperation and my hip .

Taking my kettle back this morning, we haven't bonded. Back to a saucepan till I find 'the one', no one should ever settle for second best .

Thanks Willow

Least the first one was ok ish. She seemed good when I had her at the beginning. It’s so busy there and you don’t get a choice who you have. Though I know he second lady was covering holidays and that’s why I had her.

Kaily I hope you find the kettle you want and in stock. I think it’s tough love with the PT. she said she’d do it harder if I wasn’t ‘older” bless her.

Morning!

Kaily, it takes about 8 hours driving plus stops so 9 is hours to drive to Glasgow. I am at a service station level with Manchester so about half way there.

I can certainly vouch for Fort William and Mallaig as being pretty.

I hope the pain in your hand eases quickly Mags. Let's hope it was worth it.

Morning Weekenders!

Mags, I hope the pain and swelling in your hand and wrist goes quickly. Physio isn't always the most comfortable thing to have but neither is it supposed to leave you in discomfort.

Sao, enjoy the rest of your journey, if you can call being on a motorway for several hours an enjoyable experience.

That is a lot of driving. I struggle to get to Southend! I am very envious though. Enjoy.

The full moon is amazing tonight! I wish my camera could do it justice, but it just looks like a blurry white blob in a black background….

Enjoy your trip Sao.
I would love to get to Scotland again one day

Willow, I saw the full moon earlier and it looked beautiful amongst the trees. I thought about a photo but I can never do it justice.

Cognitive disability + chronic depression = mistaking deadline for a very serious art history essay. The lecturer contacted me, she was more concerned about my health than the missed deadline and gave me until Sunday to complete it.

I got a glimpse of the full moon with a few clouds. It was so pretty! Very spiritual looking and feeling.
PJ, take good care. Sending prayers.
Have a great day peeps. I'm doing Tuesday laundry. I hope the washing machine in our laundry room doesn't leak. It's been leaking. At least, as much as I'd love a washer/dryer in my unit, I won't have to clean it up if it does leak.
Sao, have a wonderful rest. A change of scene may be just the thing. Be careful on the roads.
Mags, hang in there. It will do you well in the long run. You're being quite brave about this. Love you, gal pal.

It's just kind of a bummer that neither of my sisters will help out with mom. She's had a stroke, hip replacement and now has a broken foot and a sprained, badly ankle. I am glad I am and have been here for her. My other sisters just don't seem to care, or they are happy to let me take all the resposibility for her and not help at all. Oh well. I'm glad, mom has one daughter, me, she can count on.
But yes, all relationships do have their challenges and even awkwardness, like you wisely mentioned. Getting through and try to be grateful, makes me a better person. If not kind of tired.
Love and peace to all of you wonderful peeps!
You are an exemplary daughter, Aly. When, in retrospect, you remember this time, you will find comfort in the fact that you took good care of your Mom.

Love to you, Aly.

(((Mags))); it is sad that the PT is causing such pain; hope the therapies are easier hereafter.

(((PJ))); hope the depression continues to lift; glad that your instructor was so understanding.

MesaMan and Robbie; thank you the the stunning images/music. Robbie, thanks for the interesting story on Mr. Greaves.

Kaily, great pic of Daisy; she is quite photogenic. Hope Allie gets some relief from her leg issues.

Great posts, all; thank you.

Still having jaw issues so no swimming yet.

((((Kaily))); my heart goes out to you. It is very difficult to find patience when caring for an aging parent even when the relationship is a good one. Dealing with a difficult past must add an extra layer of challenges when helping your Dad.

Love to you.
