Been there, done that, got the T shirt !
So I’m on Day 3 (again) which turns out to be worse than Day 2 (which was worse than Day 1) but I KNOW that so why why why do I keep doing this to myself. Was going to clean my flat but couldn’t face it - though I managed to eat something. As the adage goes “ insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result”. ENOUGH. Am looking forward to the tennis later there’s that to be grateful for. Onwards !
I really feel for you. Please hold on and push through. I have literally just been through the hell about 4 times over past 3 weeks. I'll have made 4 days by 9:30pm this evening. I had 440 days sober then bloody relapsed. I have a 26 year drinking history and I've relapsed over and over for the past 19 years. I'm NOT giving up, I want long term sobriety badly!!!

Thanks Unite4Strength - we’re in this together ! Along with LonelyGuy who seems to be around the same day count I think. Did you have awful withdrawals ? I could barely get out of bed today (Day 3). Hope tomorrow is better !
The first week tested my willpower to the limit. When the cravings subsided, the next year tested my plan for combating my AV, and other predicted triggers. Testing my willpower was mostly about functioning in a state of temporary insanity. Testing my plan did not include the insanity, but it was trickier, and involved vigilance and keeping my promise to myself.
Enjoy the tennis ICDT
