Thank you all. I had another set of test shots and next time I get the real ablation. The govt makes they test twice before the procedure. I feel a lot better. I hope it lasts for a bit! Grateful to wake up in a much better mood.
Hopefully, in Sept, the hottest month here, my ceiling fan went out and a guy is coming by to fix it. I hope. The ceiling fans make a huge difference. We don't quite need the air yet.

Hi all. I am in for another sober weekend. Thanks for the opener Mags. I am mostly grateful to be sober. A few times here and there when I am super stressed or worried I crave the relaxation of a big glass(bottle) of wine. But I know that it doesn't help anything in the long run. And I don't miss the hangxiety at all!

Looking forward to watching the US Open finals this weekend. Rooting for Djokovic to get the calendar grand slam. Exciting to see two teenage women in the finals and like them both. How exciting for them and their families and coaches. I guess all you Brits would like to see Raducanu win.

Aly, really good to hear that your test shots went well. Come to think, my two friends who had the ablation had to have had cortisone shots before Medicare would pay for the ablation. I think that some insurance companies require the same.

Food for me doesn’t require hunger; in the past, my metabolism allowed overeating; not so any more. Balance is key for me; carbs and sweets are my biggest challenges. Lately, I have been doing fairly well avoiding desserts; having said that, there is a huge container of M&Ms hidden behind the pasta containers; temptation is never far away.
