Beautiful sporty car MLD, what a treat!

Your hips must be better than mine, I would struggle to get out.

Oh, and the steering wheel is on the wrong side ..

Enjoy.

Kaily, I haven't seen the car in person yet - I'm hoping I can get in and out of it!

Nice car Marty :j

Vinny pleased the fog is lifting…your holidays seemed to fly by.

Bim thanks for the hug..I think we’re safe to say it’s socially distanced over the pond!

Hi Bim, how do you feel about carrying pepper spray? I have one attached to my key chain. You just never know and it makes me feel safer. I've never had to use it, but I'm glad I have it. Be safe on you walks, love.
Thank you Venus for the hug! Back atcha!
Mags, hope your wrist is better and same with Mr. H. I hope you two are holding up well.
Love to you all.

It's a beauty Marty, you won't want to drive your regular car once you have it.

I went to a country park due west of me today and from a great distance watched part of a jousting tournament. I would have liked to have watched it close up but we didn't fancy bunching up to watch even outdoors so this photo is actually from a few hundred yards away. They were really going for it, the lances are the real thing and they were going for head shots

Sao that’s scary!

Marty, that car looks heavenly, sigh. I hope you can get in and out of it

Free, the cabin on the river looks heavenly, I could live there forever

Mags, my Mum had one of those elastic wrist supports and it really helped with the swelling, and also gave support as her wrist healed after she broke it. A friend also had one. I think they’re really useful, but Mum said it got uncomfortable so she had to take it off and have rests from it.

Vinny I’m glad the fog is lifting

I’m in need of some coffee… I hope you’re all doing ok

Saou, your post made me immediately think of that movie A knight's Tale, and it's on tonight. That really does seem hazardous though.

Saou, it looks like the real thing but I guess it is. It would be far too many crowds for me too.

Willow I’m glad the wrist support helped your mum. I didn’t, don’t like it, it’s very tight and itchy but it seems to be working , a bit more of the back of my hand is looking normal now, A way to go but it’s progressing so that’s good. :j

Aly thanks love, Mr. Mags is doing really well. He’s been told not to lift for a few weeks but otherwise he’s feeling much better. I’m ok, I’m getting there. x

Have a good sober Tuesday xxxx

From me too Kaily, sending up prayers for everyone affected by Storm Ida.

Kaily hope your physio goes well. Minnie sounds a nice friendly person.

Beautiful sunrise as we ascend from the smoky valley

Tyndall glacier, and the peak behind it was Hallette Peak, which we summitted

This last one is a fast moving marmot

...and well named. I'm assuming Dr. Free is an orthopedist - just in case?

Afternoon Weekenders.

That is a very nice car, MLD. I hope you have lots of fun driving it around and I‘m sure it goes well with the new driveway! Now I‘m wondering which idea came first.

Free, those are lovely pictures. America has so much to offer to anyone who appreciates nature. I‘ve never been to the States and would love to visit so many areas there, I wouldn‘t know where to begin.

Aly, on the photo I posted on Sunday evening it is my shared driveway and actually a neighboring house that you see, but you are welcome to move in with us! I live in a so-called estate, which sounds a lot more posh than it really is. It is basically a small village of about 80 houses, within a larger neighborhood. The houses are quite close to one another so you sacrifice in terms of privacy, but the security aspect is a huge plus.

Cbs62, you are quite observant and yes, that is a Corgi.

Robbie, I’m hoping that you are still fine and joining the call for you to please check in with us.

What gorgeous photos, Free2bme; thanks for posting them. When the kids were young, we used to stay at a YMCA camp in Estes Park just outside the entrance to the Park; such special memories. Looks like you guys are making great ones, too.

Mags, my sister’s hand and wrist looked “off” for quite some time (shiny and swollen); progress was slow but sure; you are on the right road.

Kaily, good luck with the PT.

Captain, less property is a good exchange for security - not to mention, less area to weed, mulch, trim and mow.

Yeah, Robbie, where are you?
