Thanks CaptainHaddock great news on being able to play the piano….I couldn’t before.

Kaily I don’t think we’re insured if an injury hampers us. Never mind about driving what about opening a pouch of cat /dog food. Scissors have been my friend. I’ve just wrote out a birthday card with my non dominant hand. Looks terrible.

Mags, I hope your wrist is getting better every day. That must be so inconvenient, but with your great attitude, I know you are making the best of it. Love you!

It is Officially summer now. On my walk today I picked up 15 apples from the trees, AND I think I ate about a cup of the most deliciously sweet blackberries. Tomorrow I go out with containers for those berries!

Apple blackberry pie, anyone? Mags?

Sounds interesting, Bim and somewhat healthy, sans all the sugar. I'd try that combo! Sounds very inventive. Can you make pies? I used to have a friend who had the biggest black berry bush I'd ever seen. It was like a vine up a barn out there. She'd pick tons of them and just bake a bunch of black berry pies by scratch. They were delicious and I'm not really even a pie person, except for good Key Lime! I would just watch her whip out these pies from scratch and they were very good. A few apples thrown in might be really good!

I'm not a pie baker, too labor intensive and too many calories..

I'll have homemade granola topped with Greek yogurt mixed with cheesecake jello powder, protein powder, and some cooked apple with just blackberries sprinkled on...sort of a lower cal cobbler.

I already cooked up most of the apples into applesauce. "Wild" apples aren't really that pretty and they definitely can't be stored (bruising and holes, etc.) But hey, they're "heirloom."

Mags - what do you mean, "Can't?" None of my business of course...I'll have your portion (and everyone elses' too because it just won't ship well!! Sorry for the tease. )

sorry for your loss Reid

congrats on six months Robbie - that's awesome keep up the good work

hope you're healing Mags. a friend of mine just had a hip replacement - she said she'd rather underestimated how uncomfortable having the top of her leg sawn off would be.
