Interesting looking pub.

Thinking about this weekend's theme - when I was drinking, I was only going in one direction, down. But now, sober, I find that even when I'm not moving 'up', I'm still on a level plane and still moving forward. Sure beats going nowhere...

Well done, Willow - 2 months; very, very good.

And, Aly, the thought of 31 shots sends a shiver down my spine. You are a brave and strong one, in addition to lovely.

Congratulations on 2 months Willow.

Aly, your specialist sounds a lovely understanding person. It must be hard for you having to go through so much for pain relief love,

Saou nice shaped building. Don’t see so many like that nowadays.

Kaily great photos. Puts it in perspective seeing Alfie and Daisy with the dinosaur. Or T.rex

Morning Weekenders!

Congrats on 2 months Willow. Glad you could get your second jab too.

Thanks Kaily, that’s thoughtful of you. I hope Alfie gets better soon. I think him still being playful and active is probably a good sign. Yes, the rioting has caused a lot of destruction and suffering. Some areas now have food shortages due to the disruption of the supply chains. It also caused a setback to the Covid vaccination program. A few days ago everyone was queuing for petroleum in case it ran out. Of course lives have been lost too. It is sad that this also portrays the country in a very bad way. Thankfully things seem to be calming down now.

@Caramel, thanks. I appreciate your PM concerning the situation.

Good to see you Owen. It would be wonderful to have you as a regular on the Weekenders again.

Reid, I hope you don’t have Covid and that you make a speedy recovery.

Aly, regular migraines are really debilitating. I hope you get some relief. It is wonderful that you have found a neurologist that you are so happy with.

I’m hoping for a productive Saturday and will check in again a bit later.

My Covid test came back negative but still pretty sick so must have picked up some bug going around. My mother's condition has deteriorated rapidly this week now too
and she is currently bed bound, we are not sure if it is simply a kidney infection she has or it's her dementia advancing- or a combination of both.

Morning Weekenders!

Reid, sorry to hear about your mother Hope you are feeling better soon.

It's an absolutely glorious day outside though I'm stuck at home at the moment waiting for a parcel to be delivered. Hopefully it won't be too long in arriving because I want to get out for a nice walk in the hot sun.

Good Morning everyone!
So nice to wake up with a clear head and ready to hit the walking trails bright and early. SO’s daughter turned 40 yesterday and she is having a big backyard bash this afternoon. Tons of food and drink. So glad I won’t be drinking anything but iced tea there and obsessing tomorrow morning over all the stupid things I did and said!

Have a great Saturday!
