The eye is passing to the west of us now. It's just a sustained heavy breeze with rain. Haven't heard any trees go down yet. The power flicked once, but didn't go out. Getting a bit of work done.

I hope tonight's game goes well.

Glad to hear that things are going well, CityBoy.

This is an article about the tornado:

Good Eye, Chairman Sao!

Yep, there is Gold in them thar Hills.

KOFA Gold Mine Info

I set up the Trailer on a deserted side Road a few Miles from the stunning Mountains seen in these Pix. There's a stand of rare Palm Trees Helen Gone up in a Canyon I hiked up to. Mebbe some Bird dropped some Seeds eons ago, but it's a big ole deal to Tree Geeks.

KOFA Wildlife Refuge Pix

In a bit of connection, I sold my prior Truck to a local Gent from lovely Rifle Colorado. He knew of a capability I didn't. You can flick the '2WD' -> '4WD' Selector Switch something like 5 times within 7 Seconds to disconnect the Truck Transmission Transfer Case. This meant he could flat tow that Truck, sans a Tow Dolly, behind his monster RV Bus. He was going to drive his All Terrain Vehicle into the Truck Bed, and drive all that down to Gold Mines around KOFA just to poke around.

~2 Years on, he hasn't called to chew me out. So, I guess he was happy with our Truck Deal!

Shaping up to be England and Italy in the Euro Final, eh? Congratulations on getting this far!!

The wind picked up pretty good for a while as the eye passed close by, but I don't know of any trees going down in our yard. The power went out about 4:30 and I fired up the generator, but it's back now (8:45). Everything seems better when the power comes back.

Soberleigh, I can't imagine what that poor family went through having lost their daughters like that.

Leigh, that was so tragic for the two sisters and their family.

I hope everyone is safe from storm Elsa.

How tragic Leigh, life can be so cruel.

How is your plumbing, Mags?

So, we are in the football final. I had to keep flicking channels as it was too stressful to watch. Lots of luck helped this time I think, and good players too.

Still no show Kaily, thanks for asking. I’m looking for another local one, hopefully reliable.
