I have a week off work and don't want to spend it hungover ever day, I need a break to recover as I have 2 years worth of leave owing to me and my brain is fried.. I work in a hospital and ever since covid its been soooo much busier even though we Don t have covid here..

When I first decided to quit it really did feel like a breakup. I was sad and scared and didn’t know what life would be like without it. I’m only six months in but I can tell you in the beginning it was tough but now it’s life changing getting rid of the dead weight.
I also work in healthcare and was using alcohol to cope with stress from many different avenues. Imagine how amazing you will feel returning to work 7 days sober?!

It's a fantastic day for Netflix n chill and thankfully this morning I don't have a hangover, this means I can think about organising my week to not revolve around drinking at night..
I know that there's a long way to go until the end of the day but I just wanna say thank you to every single person that posted on my thread, without them I wouldn't be doing day 1 today, it's given me the courage and accountability to do it..
