Mags, we cohabitate with the alligators rather well; they are just as leery of us as we are of them. They go a little nuts during mating season, though, and we have to be more careful than usual.

Talking of lego - I spent this afternoon sorting our my sons lego - he now has 7 boxes of it - and yes my feet are scarred from treading on it - but he loves it and long may that last!
Does Hector have a good vibe? He is bossy and stubborn and slightly needy - but my two cats just 'put up with him' only getting cross if he tries to purr up to close to their humans.

I knew a woman who used tweezers to remove petals from between the paving stones.

All I can say is that you are lucky that they are not crocodiles.
Crocs are leery of no one. They are just deciding which part of you they are going to eat first.

Count me in for another sober weekend!

Glad we don't have alligators and crocodiles around here!

Hurrah! I've just had a message pop up on my phone, the sober time app I have installed has just reminded me that I am 5 months sober today (it has just gone midnight here in the UK). My sober date is 25 January 2021. Today is day 151 and the savings I have made so far from not drinking (and smoking, as I used to smoke when I drank) are a massive £2,037 (US $2,835). In reality the savings will be more as I haven't been ordering home delivered food on an evening either. That is a massive amount of money - it's not far off how much I spent earlier this year when I got my entire house redecorated and also got new carpets.

The bad news? It's only 6 months until Christmas Day and all the extra costs that brings...

Congratulations Robbie, I am genuinely so pleased for you.

Happy Birthday Samantha.

Ha I didn't know they fixed the text editor, Bim. My way was a lot more long winded . Story of my life really, go the long way round.

Last night, in quick succession I ate 2 Magnums and then a dark chocolate orange, ridiculous! I got into bed and had to get up to be very sick. I was trying to rid myself of anxious feelings.

I have started a thread about ongoing issues with my neighbours in the mental health section. I think things are going to get worse and I don't want to flood this thread. I need to vent.
