Congratulations. 6 months was a turning point for me. It felt so much easier after that. Contrary to many others, the first 2 or 3 months I always felt horrible: no pink cloud, no extra energy/time, etc. It was all about not digging the hole deeper. I could not see the healing that was happening. But it all became apparent after I made it past the first 6 months. Since then, time has gone faster and the cravings, tiredness, resentment, lack of sleep, lack of energy, etc. are almost gone.
Everyday without drinking is a massive success; it is life you are not wasting away; it is another day living without shame and regrets. Well done
