A few years back we had to create the Daily Support forum because of there were so many threads in the Newcomers forum that actual newcomers, people new to the site, or other members needing help were being lost in the very great amount of activity here

Its not that bad again now, but it's getting there.

We need to keep Newcomers Forum free for recovery related topics.

I know that everyone has different interests and pursuits that may very much help their recovery,. or that they feel would help others, so I'm not really looking to make a determination on every thread here...

but I'd ask everyone thinking about a thread to think about whether their thread might better belong in the Cafe forum, or if you believe an existing thread of yours would be better placed elsewhere, shoot me or Anna a PM.
