The second goal by the Czech Republic was amazing.

Hope you’re doing OK, Auchie.

Kylian Mbappe is a bit quick, he will have increased his potential transfer fee tonight in what wasn't a great game between France and Germany.

I hope Scotland can find some magic and progress but it doesn't look good.. I fancy Italy or France to win it. England will get better but I don't think they have enough to win it. I've been so tired from work I've been falling asleep during the last game of the day.

Did anyone else see the press conference where Paul Pobga removed the bottle of beer? It was actually ******** alcohol free, but he wasn’t happy with it being there

I saw that, good for him.

Well done to Wales, their prospects of going through look pretty good.

This time tomorrow, it’ll be nearly half time in England v Scotland, and there’ll be a few hangovers in progress. Now I’m down with the kids 🤪 and get to speak to 20 somethings a lot at school, they all seem to want to go to the pub to watch football even though it’s on terrestrial TV. I get very irate when in a pub or wherever and some moron is effing and blinding, and a televised football match attracts such behaviour.

Watch it at home, folks, with a tea and some cake. You can burn off the calories when you wake up refreshed on Saturday morning. Pubs are rubbish now anyway, you have to sit at a table and wear a mask when walking to the toilet! And people think that’s fun?

And seriously, from a football fan and not a fair weather one, I hope it’s a close game whichever team wins 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I hope England wins! Though hopefully it's a good match ⚽

Good to see Wales beat Turkey 2-0 and I hope Scotland win their remaining game after tomorrow night but there's only one team I'll be shouting for tomorrow night...

I'm okay, thanks! Ten days under my belt.

I have been that guy, effing and blinding. It's one of the hundreds of embarrassing things I have done when drunk. It's such English behaviour, too - behaving like a bampot when watching the fitba! I will be at home with a cup of tea.

'Mon the Scots! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The thing is, really clever people, we’re talking CEOs or senior politicians (who are clever regardless what we might think of them), wouldn’t get over excited about the events on a sports field which they can’t control. It’s best to keep it in perspective.

Ten days is brilliant, Auchie. Have a whole pot of tea during the game.

The most exciting part of that was the egg custard tart I ate at half time 😆

But there are people who’ll have spent £30 in the pub watching that boredom.

Scotland were the better team, England just never really got going.

I'm having a cup of tea and a couple of digestive biscuits. Much better than sitting in a pub where I probably would have spent at least £30. At least I will have a clear head in the morning.

Edit: I must buy an egg custard tart tomorrow, I've not had one for years!

I thought it was great fun

Scotland did well to get a draw against England. Drank water all evening and will wake tomorrow with a clear head and 2 weeks sober.
Congrats to everyone on another sober day

Bizarrely, they’re popular in Asia and you can get “authentic” ones in dim sum places in London Chinatown or up your way/stowell. Such details are lost on me. I just grabbed a pack of two which had reached their sell by date and were 71p! I tell you what, though, much nicer than beer.

Glad we all had a sober goal free evening 🙂

I have to say it was far from boring for me - I was on the edge of my seat the whole game. I had a curry, which arrived just before half time, and lots and lots of Lidl's Organic Ginger Shots mixed with sparkling water.

A good result for Scotland, though now we will fail to beat Croatia!

Sounds like a good choice of drink, Auchie.

Good luck v Croatia
