Hey Tyler next time you want to drink read this!
I'm writing a note to myself incase I want to drink again. Hey Tyler, remember when you were 9 months sober going to the gym everyday and suddenly your wife found your dream home and you moved from the city to the mountain and had to stop going to your favorite gym and so you made excuses that you can have a few beers, which spiraled out of control, drinking beer and Vodka everyday. You thought you could handle it. Do you remember how many times you've fallen down? Not to mention the 8 seizures you had one night while trying to stop with the Vodka? I know you will never forget why you wear eyeglasses now. Those seizures messed up your vision.
I know you'll never forget drowning in the bath tub at 9am and almost dying while 12 neighbors had to come to the house to pull you out of the tub since your body was seized up and get you on an ambulance and the bill for that episode is shaping to be around $12k. Don't forget last year alone you spent $10k on alcohol. Meanwhile you've gone so far downhill, you can hardly walk. Just yesterday your beautiful wife wanted to show you her progress with plants on your 1 acre yard and you could hardly get up the driveway. I know you like those Blue Moons.. and now even a 12 pack doesnt give you a buzz anymore. You cant sleep, you have hot flashes all day, your not eating well, and just in 2 years moving into your dream home, you lost all your gym gains along with 20 lbs and you look like ****. Everything that has gone wrong here, points to the drinks. I found a new gym and going sober again. Don't ever take another drink!

Hi Tyler. It is good to communicate with your future self. I often look back at the video 18 months ago that I took of myself on the morning of my Day 1. It is SO motivating. I talked to the future me about so many unpleasant things.
That can be a tool in your toolbox.
That can be a tool in your toolbox.
The moment of the beautiful truth has arrived Tyler.
Blue Moon's, yours forever.

Very interesting post Tyler and novel idea about using this forum as a cautionary warning - BUT you need to read this post of yours on a constant basis for it to work even if you’re out of the woods.
I encourage you to post here regularly in order to get the maximum help to stop drinking.
Additionally, it sounds like your health will not hold up much longer. Please don’t think that feeling better and healthy again makes it okay to take ‘one drink’ because if you do you’ll find yourself instantly back to square one not just with the outrageous consumption but also with the health problems. I know this because I’ve been there.
I used to think that feeling normal again meant it was okay to drink. It’s not. My life looked back on is a helluva mess and I have nothing but remorse for hurting myself and my loved ones so deeply.
