Equally I make and am responsible for my own choices.
What did you hope to hear in your msg? Did I meet the SR standard according to you?
Just curious is all, Chris.
I'm glad you are here, And hope that you will find a spot at a rehab center in your area.
And break the chains of alcoholism.
You can find the answers to your problems. Some of the answers may be in the suggestions that were given to you from members of this forum. Some of the answers you may find on your own. It may be a combo. Perhaps you are in a place right now where any and all suggestions are not helpful?
Keep doing the next best thing and life will improve. You have the ability to change your life. Believe in yourself. You can do this, Chris.
(Im not overly optimistic here. YOU have the power to change)

Chris, I'm glad that you appreciate the help you are getting from our members. I know how generous and helpful our members are. But, I suggest that you make use of the Ignore Function if someone's posts bother you. Thanks.
There is a time for everything Chris. Jokes and being serious and everything in between. Not knowing when we should be joking around, when we should be serious, when we should be talking about fast cars and puppies, and when we should be trying to get sober - that is the common affliction of us alcoholics. I'm still not very good at it, but in my recovery and when I'm sober and feeling healthy, I can work on those things and as a result, my emotions are so much more even-keeled. I don't get offended so easily and I give far less offense to others.
