I see everyone is checking in sober. Excellent.

Willow, once you make that Decision that you're Done it will get easier. Playing around with "someday" and giving it a seat at the table is where all the trouble lies.

Kaily no bacon for me. I've been under 2000mg sodium every day since my dental appointment...so a week? A few days even under 1500 but I don't know how sustainable 1500 is. I'm not missing the salt that much and it's been a lot easier to not over-eat too. Weird.

Yesterday on my walk I spotted three red tailed hawks flying the thermals below some building storm clouds. It can only be described as an incredible display of speed and aerial acrobatics. Looked like sheer excitement and joy to me. They would gain altitude by circling and then tuck their wings and streak across the sky at super high speeds and then at the end, pull up and do loops, chasing one another. I watched them go back and forth between two thermals several times over a period of about five minutes. I've never seen them do that! It was so cool.

Yesterdays Magic
They just stand there waiting for their person to come back. Its quite the magical thing to witness. They are all very quiet. Their person and I stood inside for a bit while they waited patiently. Please take note of the little one at the bottom left. I am told she is the Matriarch of the group which has 15 poodles.

Bimini, every time I see you post early I think of my friend/customer that lives on Bainbridge island. I had a momentary slip once, in my drinking days obviously, in which I called him at like 5 AM Pacific time. Now I just send emails or limit calls to afternoon.

Off Topic. It's wildfire awareness week in the US.

Bainbridge Island isn't that far away. Really beautiful ferry ride that goes around it en-route from Seattle to Bremerton. It's the go-to ferry ride I take tourists on. The islands offshore are pretty spectacular.

You should call him. We're three hours behind!

Mizz, is the little black one a Cocker Spaniel? I've had them and I could see a CS becoming the "boss" quite quickly. Poodles are so agreeable.

Funny picture. Fifteen poodles? Sounds like a full time job.

I think it is a Chihuahua, BB. I have limited education in dog breeds but she seemed Chihuahua-ish! Super cute moment and really hysterical. The car held 9 of them in total. 2 of the Poodles are in the front or laying down somewhere. When people would get out of their cars they would stop and just stare. Its almost like the brain cannot compute what is happening at all.
I had a great time taking it all in.

Can you imagine the amount of food and vet bills? wow. I hope it's a Rescue or breeder and not just one of us with an obsession.

The good thing is that poodles don't shed.

Love poodles.

That's excellent, they will make fantastic service dogs.

Everyone was so happy too. All the customers and my coworkers. I thought about the joy that the Trainer brought to all of us yesterday. He is doing wonderful work for our world!

Nothing like a boot full of dogs. This was a regular occurrence in mine until a few years ago.

I used to work at the local animal shelter and it was the animal collecting that made me quit. At one point I had three cats and that was two too many. Working at the shelter meant I heard every sad story.

Ya can't save 'em all, bim.

Kaily, that's a lot of Terrier.

Day 15 is a great thing, ICDT.

I dont think I could work at an animal shelter. Im sure I would want to save and care for everyone. My two felines are rescues. I was not even a cat person at that point and may not be still. We rescued them to rescue me out of a depression. I needed some friends in my life. Now, I cant even see my life without Sir Maximillion Rutherford and Lily Pie. They bring so much joy to my life, even when Lily Pie cant seem to get a grip and is in constant jealousy of her brother. Its probably because she hates her name!
LOL! ANYWAYS......

Day 15 is great, ICDT!
