8 months +
Just wanted to give a quick update since I haven't been on in a while. Still sober. Its been 8 months + since last drink (252 days I believe). I'd be lying if I said I haven't had my craving moments. When I get them though they don't overwhelm me anymore, Thank God. My mind immediately goes to "what's the point at this point, really?" I'll say to myself. Life ain't great, but its better than it was.
I'll keep it short. Thanks again for being here for me and one another on this forum. Have a great rest of the day and good holiday weekend.

TNT - It's so good to hear your update & to know it's been 8+ months of freedom for you! It feels wonderful to know we won't sabotage our lives with our drinking behavior. Thanks for posting - enjoy yourself this weekend. 
Yep, life ain't perfect, but it's a lot better, and simpler, sober.

Congrats on 8 months, that is fantastic! Life isn’t definitely never perfect, but I have learned to appreciate and be grateful for the small everyday things, I think I took those for granted when I was drinking. I also know that when I’m having a bad day alcohol would make it even worse.

Congrats, TNT. Yes, we’ll all get those craving moments - I do after 27 months - but they’ll get astronomically worse if we indulge, so let’s keep on ignoring these cravings and having a way better life without the hassle of alcohol.
