Dental appointment went pretty well - all my fears weren't as bad as I imagined (go figure) but I do need two fillings. It's been a year and a half since I had been to the dentist and I had some pain so of course I imagined all kinds of $$$ bad stuff. My hygienist even said, "Good job! Your gums look good, keep it up!!"
I stopped at the grocery on the way home. I'm walking up and down the Easter candy aisle...finally see a guy, "Hey, are you hiding the Peeps?"
"We're out."
WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! How does a monster Kroger run out of Peeps two days before Easter?

I wouldn't say I like Peeps better a little crispy, but I used to - and it's a thing, Venus. I'll hunt some down tomorrow.

This will be my my 17th weekend sober. I’m looking forward to getting an Easter egg hunt ready for my five-year-old granddaughter. Looks like the weathers going to cooperate. It’s going to be cool and sunny. I hope everybody has a great weekend🐣🍫🐇🐰😊

also nice discussion on different supports and ways of remaining alcohol free. There are as many ways to be successful as there are people! There is no standard RIGHT way for all.
Early is uncomfortable. Miserable? Yep. Any conscious change we make is awkward until our new self is established. When is that, you ask?

I use an android Free2 so i'm not much help but I expect someone will be able to assist, in the meantime it might be worthwhile having a look in the Technical Issues forum as quite a few of the questions there are about how to post photos, videos etc.
The sunny weather has deserted us, grey and overcast here.

Morning all 
I've never heard of Peeps but as Mags suggested, they seem a bit like English marshmallows but, from what I can see, cut to various shapes including Easter bunny shape. As I love marshmallows, they also look like they would be lovely to eat!
As sao has posted, the weather here is grey and overcast, as well as being cold. But I plan on getting out for a walk later this morning.

As saoutchik said I finally feared dying a drunk more than living sober.
Toward the end of my drinking I think I ramped it up to shorten my misery. My Grandfather died from cirrhosis at 72. All my relatives have lived to be quite old and I was only 51 when I finally decided to quit so I probably have a long way to go, hopefully.
I could no longer face the prospect of living another 20 plus years in the state I was in so there was no other choice. Quit drinking.
I made 1 post here and have not looked back except to practice gratitude for no longer being in that place.
Sober life is good, it's fun, it's living.
