Good Morning! On to another day!
My laptop decided to go on vacation this morning so I am attempting to do this on my cell phone! Please forgive any errors in spelling or such!

Day 10 here and feeling like I got really plastered last night.. Weird feeling.
If i didn't know better by the way I am feeling today I would have sworn I got plastered last night and am suffering from a major hangover.
I have seen snip its about PAWS but am not well read on it at all. Is there anything that starts at around this time that I should be aware of? I guess I should go do some research.
No desire to drink just feel like I did....

Hang in there Ad42L! Great job on 10 days. I think it's a bit early for PAWS but I never got it to any significant degree, so not sure.

I remember having that feeling a few times too. I think some days we just aren't running on all cylinders, and it's very noticeable because it's unusual. When you're drinking you are never running on all cylinders, but there are similarities to having an off day in recovery. I remember thinking, "Well, I didn't have anything to drink last night, so off day or not, I've got at least one thing to be grateful for.

10 days is an important milestone in my book. Before I committed to never drinking again, I never got a third of the way to 10 days. I was far enough along at ten days that it became apparent that if I could do 10, I could do 20, and with each passing landmark after that it all blends together until one day you're just a guy that doesn't drink. Another year still means something to me now, but the thrill is not as exciting as 10 days, a month, or 6 months in those early days. While the thrill was breath taking, I like the quiet contentment that comes with the security of long term recovery. This total abstinence thing has been a wonderful experience all along the way.
