Feeling lethargic, un motivated and a bit "sick" (flu like feeling) but no temp ....
UGH.
BUT, its 9 days that:
I dont puke at 3am
I dont Sweat all night in bed
I dont send ridiculous emails I regret.
I dont spend the evenings watching MINDLESS you tube vids, till blackout.....
only to review my history , hungover the next day and think WTF did I watch THAT for?

So - as I said, kinda Feeling like crap, looking for support

I felt the same way you did at day 9. I remember it quiet well. Feeling like ****, anxious and exhausted. Now I am on day 100 and I can tell you it IS worth it and you never have to go through this again. You are doing something great but very hard to do and only others with the same problem can understand. Keep on going and be kind to yourself. Rest and relax when you can we put our bodies through ALOT and it takes some time to recover.

Congratulations on 9 days!

It took my body a while to heal and recover from my years of drinking, longer than I expected, but you will get better.

I love your post, it’s inspiring and it sounds like you have good perspective.

Be gentle and very kind to yourself during this process. It takes time. Everyday without alcohol is a day of healing. Be patient and know you will get better. And although it may not physically feel like it yet you are well on your way.
